Home inspectors observe and report on readily accessible, visually observable installed systems and components including site conditions, structural systems, exterior, roof systems, plumbing system, electrical system, air conditioning system, heating system, interior, insulation and ventilation, fireplaces, and attics. Your home inspection will also include the inspection of one garage (attached or detached.)
What to expect?
A home inspection usually takes 2-3 hours to complete, depending on the age and size of the home. Prior to starting, we require a signed inspection agreement (usually done online,) and payment prior to or at the time of inspection. As our client, you have the option to meet and follow the inspector asking any questions you may have.
Once the inspection is concluded, you can usually expect to receive your report within 24 hours. It will be available as a PDF and web link. We can mail you a hard copy if you like, but you need to request that separately. There is also a handy app to keep track of any improvements you may want to make.
You inspection report will contain a lot of information and photos of the property during the inspection. Although there is a summary page, clients are strongly urged to review the entire report.
The home inspection report is the sole property of the client. We do not share any report information with anyone but you.
